Christmas Gifts

I recently broke up with a girl...now to get me back for breaking up with her...she is trying to take me to court for gifts she bought me for christmas, one was a $199 ring, and a xbox which was $149...we was only together maybe 2 months, i never lived with her.....never changed my address to hers...nothing. I was wondering can she take me to court for this stuff....or is just a way of trying to get back her stuff?????

Most probably she would have no basis for the claim. A gift is that, a gift. Usually it comes unconditional.

It depends on what she claims. If she gave them to you as a present there is probably no way to claim them back.

she is actually trying to say i stole the ring.....but its a man's ring and also its still in the box
