Child support re-calculation

Is it necesary to have an attorney to submit a child support re-calculation in Knoxville,TN.?
I can do the calculation using Tennessee's on-line forms so I am hoping I can then just submit it to a judge, etc. myself to save the lawyers fees. Thanks for any info.

You must also ask for a modification of the judgment in the original lawsuit.
