Child Support Question..

I know I can not get a real answer to this question, but Im going to try anyway. My x-boyfriend and I have 2 boys together, 7 and 4. I would like to see if I can hopefully get a ballpark figure of how much Child Support I might be able to get if I choose to take him to court. He makes around 1400.00 a month. He gives me 100.00 every week right now. He lives with his mother, and has only 1 bill to pay, and it is my truck payment of 450.00. Thats it. He doesn't have to worry about buying food for our boys, or school projects, and he doesn't have to worry about all their sports activities they are in. And Im not working right now. He didn't want me to work. So trying to live on 400.00 a month with 2 boys, is very very hard. He sees them once a week, when he gives me the 100.00. I just don't want to walk in to court and end up getting less then what Im getting now. That would make him all to happy. Please if anyone can help, I would be very grateful. It depends on your state. Google your states child support guidelines and a calculator. By the way what is the reason you are only making $400 a month? You need to look for full tiume employment. Your boyfriend does not make much money. You will get some support but you need to get a job. If the 4 yr old is not in school you'll want to see about finding reasonable day care.

Also your truck payment is high. Time to sell the truck if you can. You probably are not going to get much more thah 400.00 a month if youy boyfriend only makes 1400.00.
