child support question

My question is if my ex re-marries shouldn't the new husband be responsibile for the support of the children in the home.

NO. Why should he be they are not his kids? Spousal income is never considered in child support, just like if you marry I am sure you do not want your wife's income calculated for your ex's support right? How would you feel about that?

You cannot be serious!! If they are your children you are still responsible whether she remarries or not. Why should he be responsible...he didn't father the children.

I am not an attorney...this is not expert legal advise. I know there are plenty of men in this world that try to avoid their responsibilty when it comes to taking care of their children, but I never thought I would ever actually see that question asked on here.
