Hi my name is Jennifer Doak. I live in Flint, Mi. My husband has been paying
child support for a while now. :angel but he has two past employers, who took out his child support and didn't give it to Friend of the Court.
Now he is around $41,000 in the arrears. plus we hired an attorney about three to four years ago. He now is collecting unemployment without taxes or child support and arears being taken out his check is $724.00 but when we get the check we get $$407.72, which is fine. $222.76 is what we see is for the child support but what we found out is that $218.76 goes for back child support. If we have check stubs and there are warrents for these mens arrests what can be done to get this garbage off my husbands back?
We don't have all the check stubs but we shouldn't even owe the attorney because we wouldn't have had to hire one if these people had been paying Friend of the Court like they were suppose to. What if any advice can someone give me and my husband?
