I am in dire need of guidance. My ex is taking me back to court due to comtempt with allegations that I did not allow visitation. I did not allow visitation for at least 5 visits during 2007-2008 period due to illness and emergency situations with minor child. I however made up these missed visits with 22 additional days of visitation. He refuses to negotiate and no matter what even when she was bleeding from her ears and needed to go to the ER he did not meet me there but advised that I meet him for drop off no matter what. Additionally now he is bringing up my past which includes a felony conviction in 1993 which did not result in imprisonment (tax fraud). I have even gone as far since that time is to apply and be investigated for a pardon. I still await the pardon. His abuse during our relationship turned from physical to verbal however he does have photos from 1994 when I retailiated and he has scratches on his face. He plans to present this........Mind you he gave me custody of our 5 year old daughter in 2006 prior to leaving for military training now I am an unfit, crazy mother with a past. How bad will the past affect my custody? Is he allowed to bring up issues from the past if there has been no legal issues with me to include a traffic ticket since 1993? Will his one photo show the court that I am in any way aggressive since I too don't have photos however did present to his employee which was the Military Police Department and they took photos of my face however now have no record of this...that is the military for you. He was fired from his job after this incident. Again this incident occured in I think 1994.

I am an ideal parent and have gone on with my life to earn a Masters degree. I have a great job and now my past comes to haunt me. What do you suggest I do to prove myself a fit mother.....please assist.:angel
