Child custody/vacation questions

My ex-husband has two weeks of summer vacation with our son. He is not taking the weeks consecutively. He is, however, using my weekends for each week of the vacation. We have a custody arrangement where our son sees his dad every Thursday and every other weekend. My ex-husband is not offering to swap weekends, he is simply using both his and my weekend and the weekdays in between. He told me that his attorney said that a week is seven days and it doesn't matter if part of those seven days are my weekend.

Is this correct?

That is for the court to say if not specific in the order

He is likely correct but I do not know what your decree says. Summer visitation takes priority over any visitation, so he is allowed to take it over your weekend and you are not entitled to make-up time. YBoth of you are going to come across this when holidays, birthdays, Fathers Day, etc are done. There might be times when Dad gets the child 3 weekends in a row. We run into this alot with my husband and his ex.
