My wife now has my children age 2 and 7 and refuses me contact of any kind with for about 3 weeks now. We are not divorced and there has never been any kind of custody issues we had decided between us we would share custody She has been reported to DSS 3 times now for child abuse/neglect such things as smacking my son on the head refusing to seek medical attention for them when they need it she bites my son on the lip and nose and just a week or so ago my 2 year old daughter got a baseball size bump on her head when I asked her about it she said did not know how it happened but my daughter laid in the floor motionless for aver a hour while she finished cooking then put them to bed her little face was black from her hair line down to her lips... the list goes on and on I have statements from people that have seen the abuse and verbal abuse they get well over 50 items. I'm tired cant sleep I am stresses scared for my kids and it seems that the system DSS is failing my children. What can I do? Would I stand a chance of getting custody of my kids over there mother?

Did you see her face? Or just the lump? Who told you she lay on the floor for an hour?
Was she with you and told you this? Could you still see the lump? Did you take her to a doctor or ER? Did you see your son with bite marks on him?

Why don't you have access to medical care? You're their dad!
I don't believe this...if someone did that to my kids I would be calling the cops...who would call CPS. If you have let these things go, you are just as guilty of abuse as she is. Neither of you may end up with custody if this continues. They could be put in foster or relative care.

I dont live with them I cant see them I cant get near them I cant even talk to them... It has been reported many times over and the system is letting my kids down... How am I guilty? short of kicking in her door and taking my children I have done all I know to do. It looks to me the system requires a dead child before they act
