changing jurisdiction to current state of residency

My original court order was in TN. My son and I moved to GA. during the same year as the divorce, with permission from his ex-husband. He visits with dad every other weekend. My son and I have lived here for 5 1/2 years and now I need to know how to change jurisdiction of the court order to Georgia?
If he files a motion to modify in TN. will I have to travel back up there, or can I have it dealt with in GA?

If he still lives in TN then they retain jurisdiction. The courts are not going to inconvenience him and make him travel to GA. Since you moved, you can go to TN. You might be able to request a phone hearing.
