In 2004 I was court ordered as the father of the daughter of my ex girlfriend...
She untruthfully claimed that she had no clue where I was and that she had exhausted efforts of finding me...posted ad's etc...
Anyway... Then she got a support order which seemed ridiculously high....
So now my taxes are taken every year.... My first reponse was mad that she got me named the father without notifying me...
I of course would like a paternity test to make sure... anyway
Now I am the father... she has gotten over ten thousand dollars over the past two years...
during that time she was in a car accident and in the hospital for days in intensive care... I was not notified
She flat out wont communicate with me... but she accepts the support...
so now I find out that she has joined the army reserves... which requires that you sign over custody of your child as a single parent...
so if she is in the reserves and signing over custody...should she still be getting the child support????
and how in the heck can she just sign our daughter over to someone else...shouldnt the father be the first consideration????
Looking forward to comments...
