Can subletting invoke lease cancellation

Two tenants of record informed me that they are leaviing the country and subletting their unit, for a period of about 6 mos., to two individuals not named in the lease. Is this grounds for me, the landlord, to evict the tenants? Washington, DC law; hybrid lease: This is a live/work art studio. Thanks --

Does you're lease forbid subletting?
Will it be acceptable to you to sign the new subtenants to a 6 month lease?
