If landlord has leased house and yard to a tenant, can the landlord post a political sign in the yard against the tenant's wishes?

Is there a section of law pertinent to this someone can point me to for reference?

Legally, a tenant leases the home and the yard, unless the lease says otherwise.

There is no law, per se, just the lease.

The landlord is violating the tenant's leasehold. The tenant doesn't have to do or say anything. The tenant can simply remove the sign. The tenant should then say nothing about his/her actions. He/she doesn't need to explain. The lease gives the tenant exclusive use of the premises. The landlord gives up the use of the home for the rental payments. The tenant is free to legally use and enjoy the home.

If the landlord puts up another sign, the tenant could just remove it. However, stay mum. It's best not to disturb the landlord. Just keep taking down the sign and saying nothing.
