Once you moved out, it would appear you abandoned what you left behind. The landlord could sue you for unpaid rent and whatever damages he/she incurred from you breaking your lease. If you needed to make a living I cannot understand why you would leave your tools behind.Got behind on rent, so i moved out, just took a few things. Now my landlord wont let me have any more of my things. I need my tools to make a living.
