Can i sue the owner of a corporation as a DBA even if the contract stated it was a corporation in the small print

Owners don't "do business as" corporations - they own corporations. The corporation does the business itself.

So: if you did business with the corporation, you sue the corporation.

In some circumstances, a court might "lift the corporate veil" to allow you to sue the corporation's owners. It depends on what happened, and the rules vary by place of incorporation.
