Can I pay off my community service hours?

I live in Los Angles. I committed a misdemeanor. It was my first offense with the law. I've paid off all related fines to the court and to the store. I've been to all my court appointments. I was court ordered to do 23 days of community service. I didn't do them, but I am willing to pay for it. My court date is coming up next week. Do you think the judge will make me go to jail, or just pay off the fine? Please help me.

Have you done any community service? Before you see the Judge, you should schedule some community service so you can at least show him something.

It's quite likely that you'll get a fine, and your probation extended for you to do the community service. I am aware of someone who had a first offense marijuana possession (under 1/8 of an ounce), didn't do the community service, and ended up doing 30 days in jail.
