I am dating a girl who has been separated for over a year and a half. She is not officially divorced yet. Her ex is making it as difficult as possible.(although he is already living with another woman). But, he is on the deed to the house. he contributes nothing to the mortgage and pays no bills there at all. Her and i have decided to live together. Can he charge me rent to stay there?
