can a father take kids outta state by only having temp custody

my kids dad was awarded temp custody in may 09. he took of to a different state because he was warrents for his arrest here. he took both kids with him. is it leagal for him to do that? if not how do i go about getting my kids back

Did he get permission from the courts?

he moved in march i found out for his boss that he took off. no he didn't get permission cuz they woulda arrested him

Getting permission from family court would not generally have resulted in him being arrested on a criminal matter....

...but other than that, you can file in court to request your child is returned to the State.

the county that is doing the custody case is looking for him for the county that he has warrents for. he has warrents for driving under suspension and also a bad check. i found out from his boss about a week ago that they took off because his wife text him that she was scared
