Buyer backing out...

We have a buyer that identified an issue on our Title and wanted to declare the contract void (this occurred after the inspection and final walkthrough). Our contract stipulates that we have 30 days from the date of settlement to remedy the issue, which we did. Now they are claiming that they can't get financing to settle since the settlement date has passed. I don't see anything in the contract that speaks about what happens in this situation but assume that since we have 30 days to remediate the issue, they are still obligated to fullfill the contract irrespective. Is that a legally reasonable assumption?
