My cousin and her husband died in a car accident 5 years ago in my native country (Macedonia). I am a permanent resident in the US (applying for citizenship shortly) and would like to bring their 12 year daughter to live with us in the US.
Where to start? I am willing to adopt her, but my family is suggesting that it would be good to first bring her in and see if things will work out for her here.
