Hello I was just wanting some advice.. I recently had a heart attack. While in the hospital bed the Dr. came in and announced infront of my friend that because of my HIV they could not do a by-pass. He then began to answer questions about my health to her.. I reported him and he had to go before the board of peers.. I have contacted a lawyer today and he said that I probably would not want to sue for money but just report him to the board of registration of healing arts. What should I do? now this girl which ownes a hair salon in my small town knows everything.

I can't tell you what to do but your lawyer is probably giving you good advice. Such actions aren't so simple to prove, as are damages, time in court, finding an attorney, etc. I'm sorry to hear about your HIV and wish you the best.
