Hello,
I just purchased a vehicle about 2 weeks ago from a small dealership. When I bought the car, the owner told me that the check engine light was on but it was only a sensor problem and they would fix it. So its written on the car contract that the dealership is responsible for the check engine light and is there responsibility. I took it to them that same week to fix it and when I went to pick the car the check engine light was still on. I doubt they even worked on it like they said they would. I immediately called them back and spoke with the owner. He said to bring it back and they'll fix it, so now two weeks later they have the car. The owner is giving me the run around saying they want to fix it right. Now I just want my money back, but on my contract it gives my only 3 days to return it.. Can I sue if they don't want to give me my money back?
