Biometric Screening and Surcharge

My company will impose a surcharge on employees that do not get a biometric screening... I have no problem with that. BUT they will also impose a surcharge if you do not get coaching for having too high cholesterol or weight etc. Is that legal? Who would be benefitting from this surcharge.. The company?

I would expect the surcharge to offset their insurance expense.

Is it the company charging you or does this affect the insurance premiums? The latter is common and legal.
