I'm not sure if you can help me, but if not, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
Between 2003 and 2006 I was living in Costa Rica (I am a US citizen though). I became involved with a local woman who became pregnant. I am 99.9% certain the child is mine. She met and married a "rich" American and left the country (Costa Rica) as I was getting paperwork done for a paternity test in-utero, leaving me behind.
I returned to Colorado soon thereafter. She is now living in Florida. We have a friends in common she confided in that the child is mine, I've seen pictures since, etc., etc.
I want to A) Get a test to see if the kid is mine. B) Have paternal rights to see my child if he is.
the child is appoz. 3 years old at this time
Can you help? What is the next step for me?
