i have been served with an order to appear for a stalking order protection against me...i have not stalked this person at all...this is her 3rd attempt on trying to get me in trouble with the law the first was she accused me of identity theft and fraud, the second was stealing her computer when she gave it to me to settle a debt she had with me...what can i do to one prove i am not stalking her and two stop her attacking me like this and ruining my reputation

I advise clients NOT to worry about orders of protection.
Why fight NOT being allowed to see someone you no longer want to see?
It doesn't make sense to fight this kind of thing.
This isn't any trouble with the law, oit just requires you to keep your distance form her.
That seems very wise after relationships break down.

i dont think i would care is this was just an ordinary order of protection but having the stalking part on it is what i dont like....i have never stalked this person and this is just another attempt from her to ruin my reputaion

The protection order is far from a stalking conviction.

The only thing that comes to mind here is that you may be prevented from possessing firearms if there is an active order against you... if that is not an issue for you, then no worries. If that is an issue, fight it off.
