We are being sued for hospital bills that we could not pay and still cannot pay. I have lost my job and only my husband is working full time. I work part time. We wanted to know if they could make us sell our house or vehicle to pay off this debt? If not what actions might they take to settle this debt. I do not disput that we owe this debt, just at the moment it is hard to make payment s on it.
