Criminal Records, Expungement battery charge

I got arrested for a misdemenor battery charge in the state of Kansas. I filed for a diversion because of this. I completed my diversion agreement. My diversion will fall of in a few more months. Does that mean my battery charge will drop off my record? Will I still have to get my record expunged? I can't get a job because of this experience.

You need to understand that any expungment will not TOTALLY conceal or even remove the stain your actions have placed upon your record.
The diversionary program simply allowed you a chance to stay out of jail.
Only a full pardon can allow you to say you were never convicted of anything.
Don't delude yourself for one minute that after you get off of probation that no one will ever know that you were arrested, plead guilty, served your debt to society, and remained a free citizen.
The benefit of these programs are to the government.
If the authorities didn't allow some to stay out of jail or prison, there would be no where to lock up all of the unfortunate people convicted of crimes.

You can read these links which offer you some insight on expungments in your state:
