I filed for a divorce in April due to domestic violence I have a PPO in place. He filed a Chapter 13 June 13 and had his father take out a $15000.00 loan for motorcycle for him. His father is 81. We went for mediation which was a joke and now he is threading to file Chapter 7 so that they will take the house that I am now living in. I am part owner be virtue of a gift deed. Can he file a 7 with me being part owner? What can I do to protect my interest in the house?

well i do not want to stay with the house i cannot afford it all i want is to get a divorce if he wants to sell it fine besides i have extreme bad credit and now with the bankruptcy worse
