My Ex Girlfriend and I ended our relationship during a very heated argument that became physical, with her being the physical aggressor. During this fight she is claiming injury, which may be true, but she is saying that I intentionally injured her during this altercation. She is saying this to her co-workers, her friends, her family, and some mutual friends. The events of the altercation are pretty clear to me and I assure that there were no intention to harm her. Is there a way that I can get her to stop saying these statements that portray me in a negative way and defame my character.

Army Judge is right. Your best defense is to roll your eyes and say that if there was any truth to her personal injuries she would have retained a lawyer by now.
