   What if in background check we found phone number but no criminal record or police record . What does this mean.. my friend was doing his background check online . Haven't found anything under his name in criminal record and police record . But found his phone number on the site.. what does this mean ?

   It's more than likely a mistake.
   
   Try running a background check on another website.
