Back child support

I have been divorced since Jan. 2003, I was seperated from my husband for 9 years previous to the divorce. I have two children from the marriage one of whom recently turned 18. I wanted to know if my husband could be made to pay back child support for the nine years we were seperated. I did have primary custody of the children at that time. Thank you for you help.

Was there an order for child support? If not then no , you cannot go back and have it retro. You can still file for CS for the one under 18 from here on out.

there was no court ordered child support during the separation.
