B1 Contract with 1099 Form

I have a B1 Visa Contracted to work on a Foreign Flag Yacht currently in the US to charter abroad. My contract is with the boat, but the management company of the boat (American) is asking me to fill out a 1099. Am I able to do this? If not, is there any alternative paperwork I can submit? Thank you

You don't complete a 1099, you receive one from the person that pays you money as a contractor, not as an employee.

That said, you might wish to discuss the EXACT NATURE of your duties with regard to the person or entity that engaged your services.

According to the USCIS, what you're allegedly engaged to do seems NOT to qualify for a B1 visa.
