I am going to hire an attorney to help with all the forms (K-1 or K-3), etc. But I don't know anyone personally who as hired one, and I've received several different quotes and they range greatly.
What is the average fees (if there is such a thing?). I am in New England, and am a Cdn. looking to marry my American fiance. I have no status and had previously entered legitmately as a tourist. From what I have read I am thinking going back to Canada and applying for a k-1 is probably the easiest route?
Also, does anyone know how long it should take to get a K-1 approved?
