   my friend husband was charge with assault with contact a class c charge and now she wants to remove the charges how does she go by it?

   She can't remove any charge. She can TRY.
   
   But, don't be fooled, once you summon the DRAGON he rarely disappears.

   There are way too many people (example wife against husband) who file an assault complaint against someone & then decide after they are arrested & charged that they want to drop the complaint. It's generally too late then.
