Asked by co-worker to buy pain script

My jurisdiction is: USA

If you were confronted by a co-worker and this person asked you "If you get your pain script filled, I will buy them from you", what would you do? Pretty much asking her to commit a felony.

A friend of mine had this happen to her. She didn't know what to say.
She reported it to HR and this person is still working there. She didn't deny it either.

I know if I was in HR and this happened, and it was proven, this person would be fired!

Any comments would be appreciated.

Whatever you or I would do, they are not legally obligated to fire him. Additionally, it is not always within HR's control whether someone is fired or not.
