Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Arrested for unknown fine

My fiance was arrested on 3-11, it was for a bench warrant issued for a probation violation stemming from a back due balance on a fine we were never notified was in effect. We new it existed, but it was listed as a "Non-Archived Case", which nobody could tell me what that meant. We recieved no notice of the back due balance, which I have paid in full since his arrest. The arresting officer did NOT show the warrant until after he was taken into custody. To make matters worse, we were told to "vacate" the warrant for his release, we needed a judges signature, and the judge was on vacation until 3-30. A Fines, Costs and Collections hearing is scheduled for 3-27, which I do not understand because the judge is on vacation. His probation officer has been telling me that he will try to contact another judge for the past week, yeilding no results... what should I do? We need him home...
