My husbands ex wife is always getting medical things done with out asking and then expects us to have the money to pay half. example: she buys 3 glasses for her daughter and ins. only pays for one so we have to pay half for two pairs. She called and said she was getting her daughter a breast reduction and we do not have the money to pay for half of it. I told her to please wait till we have a little money and she will not so are we liable for that half even if she knows we can not pay and has been warned?

Why isn't your husband handling these issues?

What was decided in terms of covering medical issues when your husband and his ex wife went through their divorce hearing?

Getting glasses could certainly be considered a medical necessity (one pair; not three). A breast reduction (unless for a specific medical issue such as the weight of breasts causing serious back issues) is likely going to be considered cosmetic surgery.

Breast reduction is most likely an elective surgery and it is not likely mandatory that he is required to pay half. Two and Three pair of glasses is also not likely part of the agreement.
