My husband has a small trucking business in his name only. The tax number is under his name and DBA. He recently financed a new semi. I didn't sign any of the paperwork, it is in his name only. Would I still be held liable for the financing if he got sick and couldn't make the payments on it? Also, would the finance company be able to put a lien on our home/property if something like this happened? If so, what can I do to prevent this from happening?
