We live in Ca, the cost of living is very high here. My husband makes $4680 before taxes( $3960 after taxes)taxes, me $1800. We are going to separate. We have a house and would sale it or my husband said he would be a second and pay me off.
I asked him for $600.00 in alimony. He said no, because I would have my money from the hosue, which he would also have.
My question is can I revceive alimony if I get half of the house? We have been married a little over 10 years.
