Hi.

I am now living in California, but I was divorced in Tennesse in 2004. I was not represented by an attorney because I could not afford one, my ex was represented. At the time we finalized the divorce agreement I don't think I was aware of what I was entittled to under the law. We were married 22 years, he has a military pension and a 401k where he works now. I was in a hurry to get to california to help take care of my aliling parents. I am now and have been since the time of the divorce a fulltime caregiver to my mother with alzheimers. I was recently told that I was entilted to alot of things I was not aware of. I agreed to a dollar amount of alimony monthy for 8 years. Here it is four years later and realize what is going to happen to me in 4 more years.
Is there anything I can do?, I am not looking for anything other than what I was entitled to.

If you are trying to get alimony after the fact or part of his retirement, probably not. you'll have to see an attorney.
