I am writing on behalf of my step children and my husband. 2 kids involved. husband has ex-wife who is Slovak and lives in Slovakia with kids. kids r american citizens. Divorce occurred in 2001 in Slovakia and ex-wife got full custody of children. My husband has visitation rights. Kids r 12 and 14. What age r kids able to make own decisions regarding where they want to live. We live in Michigan. Kids do not have citizenship of any other country aside from USA. My husband is also Slovak who just became american citizen 1 1/2 years ago. Visitation arrangements are also difficult with ex-wife because that entails children to fly from europe to USA which she doesn't like but somehow we've managed so far. Also what does the age of the child need to be before child support ends.
