Hi,
I have been married to my husband for 5 years after the death of his first wife.
My step son has been living with us for last 3 years and I want to adopt him.
I have a couple of questions, hope to use some advice.
1. Step ds, now 7 yrs old is US citizen. Both Myself and DH are Indian citizens. Where should this adoption be processed? In US or India?
2. Since his mother is no more, is it necessary that we obtain permission/consent from his maternal relatives, who are in India?
