my mother lives in Wisconsin. She is on the deed to my house in Illinois. The house is being paid off this week and she wants to sign a quit claim deed. Is this possible for her to do in Wisconsin???

Generally the quick claim deed would be prepared by an attorney. You might want to ask the attorney. This can be done but some states require that the deed also (besides your Mother) be signed by witnesses & a notary public. It's best to send it to her & her back to you by registered mail. An attorney can be sure you do everything correctly.
