accused of keying a car

about 2 months ago a guy hit my car door with his. i advised him that he hit it and he just said sorry and walked off. he is now accusing me of keying his car. i think he took down my tag number. what should i do? or better yet what can happen?

Nothing. Unless he has actual evidence you keyed the car Police cannot do anything
