I recently had an accident in which I was injured and my car was totaled. The other party was totally at fault as reflected by the accident report. They ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed I slammed into the side of their vehicle, no one in their vehicle was injured . The problem is I was driving my daughter's car which had no insurance ad my license are suspended to failure to pay a traffic ticket.
Because I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was clearly not a fault I did ot receive a ticket for either offense. Should I contact the other driver's insurance about my daughter's car and my hospital bill? or just thank God for being alive and write off the loss because of my own negligence in not being a legal driver?
