I want to make sure I understand how a will works once it has gone through the probate court.Once it is in the probate court, I can go down and ask for a copy is this correct? It has become a public record?
An issue has come up and I want to make sure it is being handled correctly. And seeing how I have not seen the actual will. I have to go off word of mouth.
My understanding of wills is once they are probated they become public records and for the normal county fee they can be requested and viewed? Am I correct?
