on yesterday my adolescent teenager was handed a 5 day notice filled out in pen by my current landlord with the date of 8-21-09 stating that we had that amount of time to either pay four thousand dollars move it also has another date of 8-25 on this document stating we could reinstate our tenancy if we paid the amount designated.it was notarized by the currency exchange at the very bottom it also say subscribed and sworn to before me on the ND of august at the Cicero county of cook,state of Illinois there is no agent signature on it and she previously had the address on here to the property then she scratched it out and put her address over it where she resides in Kansas. I just want to know if this document is legal and can she force us out within 5 days if it hasn't went through any court. I also asked for there lawyer number because they said he had a copy of our lease that I signed and he denied any access to that. Let me know what I can do and any rights I may have!
