My 17 year old daughter had run away and was staying at a friends. Well, we found out she was kicked out of there 2 weeks ago so now have no idea where she is. We've heard she's with some guy in a terrible part of town. What problems, as parents, are we looking at if we just leave her be? She's fought us every step of the way, won't take our phone calls, won't talk to us, and will be 18 in July. We've reported her as a missing person and the police want to try to "catch" her at work when she goes in Wednesday night. The told us if they do pick her up and take her to the detention center and we don't pick her up within their time frame, Protective Services will become involved and we can be charged with neglect. If we just leave her be now, are we facing the same charges?
