13 year old seatbelt ticket

i just recieved a letter stating i owe 711.00 for a seatbelt ticket from 1993.13 years ago is this legal i have bought a home since then ive renewed my license 2 times done checks myself.i do not know where this is coming from they told me there could be a hold on my license. i do not know what to do.

You should go to the agency who issued the ticket and get a copy of your record. You should as well go to the dmn and get a dvr. This should tell you if you are the right person the ticket was made to.

Yes... take care of this. DMV violations just don't ever go away. Sorry to hear.
