    So the lender made a bad loan, it happens all the time. You made a bad decision as well by cosigning for another person's debt. This is an expensive lesson for you to learn but hopefully you never ever cosign for anyone ever again. Legally you are responsible for this debt.

    The key word is OR. She does not have to take your credit card. Show me a statute stating she does:cool: Now, if she didn't want to take your cash, that would be another issue alltogether

    I would also demand cash from a customer who I had problems with as well. She is well within her rights to demand cash as the only form of payment.
