    Default divorce, respondent in military

Maybe there is a different form that is used when a military person is involved and not the one you are using. Can you ask the court clerk? There should be a form for your military spouse to waive his or her rights under the Servicemembers Act.

Trying to settle overdue car loan

If you don't meet the total obligation then you will not be able to keep the car. A settlement is not used for debts still owed for something in your possession. You should try and pay the amount you have and negotiate the rest of the payments for the car. Like a refinancing.

Ex no longer paying child support

He cannot relinquish his parental rights. Has paternity been established? Whether he is working or not I believe he has to pay the ordered amount and if he doesn't then you notify the child support division. He can ask for and probably will receive visitation rights.

    Deadbeat Dad never around

Paternity would have to be established before child support ordered. He would have the right to visitation and could ask for 50/50. Why rock the boat at this point if grandmother is helping with support? If she stops then reconsider your options at that time. If you pursue it she may stop helping.

    Verbal harassment

If you didn't meet with HR how do you know they wouldn't do anything? Not to be not nice, I think you made a mountain out of a molehill over a write up about phone number. It would not have impacted your employee file, it was just documentation that you were informed of policy basically.
